Alan died after a tragic auto accident on a foggy highway northeast of Great Bend. Alan had a definite exuberance for photography that he shared with many members of the group. We'll get some of Alan's favorite photos up on here before long. One time I'll always remember was when me and Jim Glynn got stuck in the mud east of Cheyenne Bottoms and we called Alan. Out he came with a big 4 wheel drive tractor, and and even bigger smile on his face when he saw our predicament as he pulled us out!
