Welcome to the Central Kansas Photography Club

The Central Kansas Photography Club is growing and for several good reasons! First of all, photography is fun, exciting and challenging. Not to knock the film buffs, but digital is also coming of age, so to speak, and is a very exciting medium as well. Our club does not necessarily focus on one particular genre, or any given aspect of photography, but rather tries to encompass the entire gamut of the hobby/field so that our interests and presentations will appeal to the group as a whole without too much individual focus. Secondly, we have some very experienced photographers, computer geeks, printmakers, etc., not to mention doctors, investment brokers, secretaries, retirees, a Phd., and yes, even a lowly mailman, in our midst. So, it's easy to find help and expertise with many photo, printing and tech related questions, just by asking around. Finally, there is a certain camaraderie among photographers, and with the exception of a few old grumps, we're a basically friendly bunch that will quickly welcome you and make you feel at home! Come visit us soon. If you're overly shy(or very pretty) you can come as Jerry's guest and he'll pick you up, bring you to the meeting and break the ice for you as he gives you an introduction to the group that all will remember!
