The Central Kansas Photography Club, as it is known in it's present context, was started in September of 2003 by Marion Lightfoot, James Glynn and Dan Soeken. The club grew quickly and now includes several dozen very talented members. The purpose and goal of the club is to promote photography as both a hobby and artistic medium to not only the club members, but the general public as well. Our meetings are always open to the public and guests, prospective members and folks just seeking to learn more are always welcome. We're here to promote all types of photography and have fun doing it! So, come on! Whether you shoot fim or digital, whether you're a seasoned (jaded) pro, or rank amateur (like Marion!) come to our next meeting (the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.) and either learn from us, or we'll learn from you!
